Tyler joined Blue Wing Properties in 2024, continuing upon a 20+ year career in rural recreational land sales and property development. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Davidson College and has developed and sold several businesses that have kept him tied to the woods and water. Tyler founded Intracoastal Angler in Wrightsville Beach NC, where he ran the successful tackle and fly shop while sneaking out to run inshore charters when time allowed. Tyler sold the tackle shop to transition into recreational/timberland sales and has been helping people find their piece of dirt ever since.
In 2015, Tyler founded Farmland Conversion Consultants to help large agricultural clients identify and develop land for vegetable production in the Southeast. The success of those ventures have led to numerous land development projects for solar, large private landowners, as well as several personal properties that he developed and sold to individuals seeking turnkey recreational venues. Tyler currently lives in Columbia, SC with his wife Lesley, son James, daughter Ava, and the ying and yang of canines, Carl and Schug.
